It's only selling out if you betray your own sense of personal morals. As for me, where do I sign on the dotted line?

My personal morality consists of the idea that music belongs to nobody, especially not those who want to take credit for it, such as Jaybird here and Pure Filth... If offered the chance to present my music to the world, I'd employ any means to do that. Because my moral compass says that art will conquer any other negatives involved. I'd be a sellout if I DIDN'T take such a gig. Imagine, the chance to take someone who was in my exact same position a few years ago and illuminate this entirely new world of bass to them.

You're the fucking sellout Jaybird. A real soundclash culture would build up a system and throw a bigger party next door. There's no need to run game on a forum. Pretty sure you wouldn't catch King Tubby doing that. Almost certain.

I know them rap songs got you thinking you're some kind of G.

I personally hate corporations of any kind, which is why I'm trading my dubstep tracks personally hand-crafted by myself into clay plates I made in exchange for a bushel of beets or apples.

nah man.. thats called being "Hollywood"..

there are a ton of different areas in LA, LA is a very large county.. Downtown is nothing like hollywood, same with topanga or venice, or south central..

in south central there is a piece of abandon land where the people in the ghetto took it over and turned it into a farm.. in the middle of the ganglands..

LA is unlike anyplace I have ever been too..

but most people think LA is only hollywood.. coz of the media..

Some say the end is near.
Some say we'll see armageddon soon.
I certainly hope we will.
I sure could use a vacation from this

Bullshit three ring circus sideshow of
Freaks

Here in this hopeless fucking hole we call LA
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.
Any fucking time. Any fucking day.
Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona bay.

Fret for your figure and
Fret for your latte and
Fret for your lawsuit and
Fret for your hairpiece and
Fret for your prozac and
Fret for your pilot and
Fret for your contract and
Fret for your car.

It's a
Bullshit three ring circus sideshow of
Freaks

Here in this hopeless fucking hole we call LA
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.
Any fucking time. Any fucking day.
Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona bay.

Some say a comet will fall from the sky.
Followed by meteor showers and tidal waves.
Followed by faultlines that cannot sit still.
Followed by millions of dumbfounded dipshits.

Some say the end is near.
Some say we'll see armageddon soon.
I certainly hope we will cuz
I sure could use a vacation from this

Stupid shit, Silly shit, stupid shit...

One great big festering neon distraction,
I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied.

Learn to swim.

Mom's gonna fix it all soon.
Mom's comin' round to put it back the way it ought to be.

Learn to swim.

Fuck L Ron Hubbard and
Fuck all his clones.
Fuck all these gun-toting
Hip gangster wannabes.

Learn to swim.

Fuck retro anything.
Fuck your tattoos.
Fuck all you junkies and
Fuck your short memory.

Learn to swim.

Fuck smiley glad-hands
With hidden agendas.
Fuck these dysfunctional,
Insecure actresses.

Learn to swim.

Cuz I'm praying for rain
And I'm praying for tidal waves
I wanna see the ground give way.
I wanna watch it all go down.
Mom please flush it all away.
I wanna see it go right down.
I wanna watch it go right in.
Watch you flush it all away.

Time to bring it down again.
Don't just call me pessimist.
Try and read between the lines.

I can't imagine why you wouldn't
Welcome any change, my friend.

I wanna see it all come down.
put it down.
suck it down.
flush it down.

don't judge where you never been...

he's talking about hollywood, not the whole place.. some of LA is very nice, especially if you stripped it of the rich, careless, fake assholes..

it's very plastic here..
