^^ All I am hearing is EXCUSES!!

I am a bit skint and have family staying but once the kids and all of dem are safely in bed I shall set off lesiurely like (ON MY OWN CORPSEY!) at around 12.30 and get there for about 1am which should work very nicely if my informant is right:

10-1130 henington g
1130-1230 random trio
1230-130 benga
130-330 dmz
330-500 joenice
500-600 youngsta&task

I'll have to leave at five to get home before the kids get up so will be gutted to miss Heny G and Youngsta but the 1-5 slot should suffice. Drove last time so entry + One stella and two cokes night cost less than £20.

Cha - skintness and lack of crew should stop no man from reaching!

PS - Already feel sick in my stomach - last time I had to pull over in Camberwell (on my way there) and throw up - man get excited by this dance ya know?!

the update

Post by joenicedj » Fri Nov 03, 2006 1:55 am

here's the update....

Mother Nature wins again. I got to BWI Airport this afternoon @ 245 for a 545 flight to Newark. My flight from Newark would leave @ 830pm..i'd get to London at 830am Friday. I was planning to leave on Sunday @ 1230pm with an arrival @ 858pm in Baltimore.

I get to the airport and i'm told that my flight would be delayed and wouldnt leave until 615. I had the option of taking the train from Baltimore to Newark...the train wouldnt leave until 415pm and would arrive @ 745pm. Keep in mind, my flight leaves Newark @ 830. In 45 minutes, i'd have to get from the train stop to the airport, check my bags..and hopefully...make my 830pm flight. If i miss the 830 flight, i'm stranded in Newark for a while.

I'm on the 615 plane from Baltimore to Newark and we're told there's a ground stop. Basically -- nothing can land or depart from Newark and everything was delayed. 30 minutes later, an announcement is made...the ground stop is over and our flight is scheduled to leave @ 850pm.

Here's the problem....that 850pm flight is leaving Baltimore..NOT NEWARK. I asked the lady at the gate if the 830pm from Newark to London is on time -- she said yes. Essentially, high winds prevented me from making the trip to London for tomorrow.

I'm scrambling -- trying to find anything that would get me to London tomorrow....at anytime. Here's what i was told: there's one flight leaving Dulles Airport (an airport in another state that's about a 60 mile drive) that leaves @ 945 am....arrives in Heathrow @ 10pm. The lady called and that flight wasnt available.

i'm now leaving Baltimore at 115pm tomorrow. I'm catching a 630pm flight to London from Newark. I'm arriving in London @ 630AM Saturday morning. I asked if there's a later flight from London to Baltimore...even with a connection. There isnt. So -- I'm basically in London for ...well...a day. Pissed that i'll be missing FWD>>, but I'll be there Saturday night.
