I went to play in a mate's club night a coupla months back... cost me 30 quid to get there, and I spent about 60 quid or so over 4 days, and they could only afford to pay me a tenner for it, so I wouldn't say I've made money off it
But I had a fucking AWESOME time while I was out there, and playing my first club gig was made all the more sweeter when a guy I saw doing promos for 16Bit outside a Distance gig the night before came up and said he liked my set
