Automating LFO rate on Albino in Ableton Live

Post by globalbabylon » Fri Jul 03, 2009 4:03 am

I have been trying to find the control for the LFO rate in Abletons paramaters list for Albino but no luck, having the same issue with Massive. Anyone know what to look for?

Edit: Do the same with albino. Just assign the lfo to the filter cutoff

He said Automation..

double check the filter envelopes in the arrangement but i dont think u can do this yet. If u can.. I want to know.

From what i understand the best way is to u play with the sounds in record mode.. chop up a few different speeds then slice to new midi tracks..

You can do it very easily in live 8, unfold the whatever vst > click configure, click lfo rate, right click show automation. wap

But i which version are you running is the question.

If you cant find a way like that duplicate the vst and use a different chanel for each rate

You can do this with Live 8, or with a vst wrapper... can't remember the name though.

I'll probably check later :)

Google around for a VST wrapper.

I'm on live 7. All good advice, been doing the separate channels but its a bit of a pain. You can automate when its not synced in massive, but then you dont get clean steps that match the tempo. Will try recording to a new track and chopping the audio.
