FAO: Coki
The tune that really made me be like "This Coki character is serious" was "Red Eye"...to me that's ultimate Coki tune.
And "Robotnik" will grow to be one of his most enjoyed tunes....I see it coming.
Anybody know anything about this guy? Have any of you approached him after a set or something? I'm wondering if he "is" like his music. It sounds like music that introverted people make.

Things change get used to it, i like both beats he aint sold out or anything so i dont think he needs to fix up he is just trying different styles. Everyone has got a right to say what they like but iam surprised to find so many close minded dubstep fans. nuff people moaning saying that tunes like goblin and square off aint proper music because their minimal, all over this forum people are moanin about tunes that wobble who cares a good tune is a good tune dont matter how much or how little it wobbles.
This is what ive always wondered...you cant find anything about the guy..on the forum..on the whole interent...86 Position wrote:The tune that really made me be like "This Coki character is serious" was "Red Eye"...to me that's ultimate Coki tune.

I read an DMZ interview by Georgina Cook...Coki was answering questions. They weren't lengthy answers, but that was the only time I recall him being quoted on anything. what a strange manNotez_ wrote:This is what ive always wondered...you cant find anything about the guy..on the forum..on the whole interent...86 Position wrote:The tune that really made me be like "This Coki character is serious" was "Red Eye"...to me that's ultimate Coki tune.

However, the pressing plant on their first release misspelt Mystikal Digitz

He answers a few questions in Mala's "London Belongs To Me" selection/interview, talks about how he and Mala met, what their family background was like etc.

out of all the people to ask "what happened?" in terms of music in dubstep, Coki aint the one. Coki is an early one with that sound and his recently released track Square Off reaches a filth level imitators only wish they could make.
haha, i like the hate for square off i'm seeing around when there is so much other shit left un-bashed. the hell?
and this song still sounds fresh two years later

I know what you mean in a way; i'm a big hop hop head as well and cant stand whats happened to that scene. I'm still banging the big tings from the golden age - 94/96 type era. The difference is that i'm happy to keep diggin in those crates as there is still a lot i dont have from that era. I can also cherry pick what is good coming out now as well (new Q-Tip and new Mos Def albums are big!).Mumble wrote:Give it a few years and you'll be moaning they dont make tunes like they used too.DiRT wrote:Stop holding onto the old and embrace the new!
With so much music in the world i always struggle to hear people moan about stuff they dont like... if you dont like it listen to what you do like, right? I hate death metal so i choose to listen to something else... i hate Lil Jon so listen to Gang Starr...
Peace Finger to all
