i had a week-long recording gig in may that involved a pipa player; pretty amazing instrument and DEFINITELY the sound of china.

i worked a gig the other day where there was a shakuhachi solo in it.

its a big room and the sound of the flute really did that samurai movie tone. we could have been sitting in a bamboo forest

ive a folder of oriental sounds you can have, dont think theres any vocals in it, had it for ages and only skimmed through it

yeah, me as well! let me have exactly the same rinsed samples as everyone else so i can sound completely unoriginal and played out too! yeah!
