it bares very little relation to most of what is being made and called dubstep nowadays. hence, why a lot of people don't like it. Personally i think it is great and i also think most of what comes out under the dunstep banner these days is utter shite

Midnight Request Line is and always will be in the top 5 dubstep tunes ever for me
It was the first dubstep tune I heard.
It's deep, it's dancefloor, it works with grime, it has elements of everything. It works in every situation. There is no other tune that has been caned so much that I am still not sick of.
Anti War Dub doesnt get into my favourite dubstep tunes list because it's just beyond that. It means so much more than what can be expressed within the boundaries of a genre
what is of value and wisdom for one man seems nonsense to another.

Yeah that's what I said. Personally my top 5 is;
Chase & Status- Saxon
Chase & Status- Madhouse
Skream- Night
Chase & Status- Eastern Jam (Snoop Dogg remix)
Pendulum- Slam (Timbaland dubstep remix)
By the way that gorgon sound track is quality, just listening to that now.

Sorry, that was a joke. I don't hate this song and I'm sure there's a lot of people it's got a meaning too, I'm just saying it's not that brilliant in my view.

How did people not realise this list is a joke, he mentions snoop dogg and pendulum.
Best DMZ tune is misty winter though. Anti war dub is ok, I'm not a massive fan tbh.

1. The most hilarious (but most inaccurate) comment in this thread is "the vocals are gay" LOOOL
2. This morning I was listening to "Molten", "Anti-War Dub", "Shake Up Your Demons", "Walkin With Jah", "Twisup" and "Neverland" b4 I left the crib to start my day. The vibe is ridiculously next level. Thinking-mans shit...that's how I describe it
