I've seen clips of this and it's predecessor floating around for a while, on academic sites, so I think it is real. I'm really happy it's actually going to see the light of day instead of dying a sad death as a reasearch project.

This, combined with multi-touch flat panel touchscreens should make for some interesting instruments

It does have an amazing iterface but, i bet it's well expensive. :D They will probably develope a cut down version for the market.

This kinda stuff is still expensive and unrefined, but it blatantly is the future... breaking out of the mold of modelling what we're used to and creating new models with new technology - plus multi touch screens like the Lemur and that other crazy one I cant remember what its called.

Opens a up a lot of possibilities for live performance.

Interesting times ahead......
