Scion - 'Dubstep Studio' ....Car Company C**ts
scion isnt a car, its legally a person, with all the rights & privileges of such...Kate... wrote:Cars don't have fantasies, silly. Fantasies have cars. I don't know where rape and cosplay come in, but you might want to look into that and report back.
plus, nobody has fantasies about scion, which is why they do all this crappy stuff
i needs me some dubstep flip flops for serious
I have fantasies about scion handing me a paycheck and putting me on.
I have fantasies about scion booking artists I can't afford to book in my area and then making them free shows in exchange for having to walk past a scion at the entrance. Wait, that one isnt a fantasy because it comes true all the time. I guess that's a fetish now.

There's something truly funnier about this post looking at an Andrei Rublyov avatar saying it(adds a new dimension to the "money for art" philosophical debate)seckle wrote:how mad can you be about car company dollars? seriously...
i mean, its not like you're seeing kode 9 sitting in a toyota on a billboard? there's a limit to how mad you can be, before its just nonsense..

Woah,
I didn't expect my morning rant to generate any debate! It's good though!
It's companies like this aligning themselves with a particular culture that makes me/some people cynical. It's like as soon as an underground/youth/music whatever culture develops, it's accelerated so quickly by this kind of thing.
Kode9 explained the consumption of culture (not specifically in corporate sense) A LOT more articulately in his interview with The Wire.
If anybody can actually get some money out of these people and use it for creative means, then of course thats a good thing. I think there's a difference.

What has scion done to hurt you guys? Did they touch you in a naughty way?
Dubstep is growing up. We're like it's parents and we are uncomfortable because all of a sudden dudes are taking her out and showing her off and feeling on her bewbies. Yea, maybe she might get knocked up, but let dubstep have some fun or it will grow to resent you and start listening to happy hardcore and huffing paint.
