Hearing Livin Different on Valve was special.

When the bassline dropped I turned to my friend and said "can you feel that" when it was obvious half of Sheffield could.

need to get myself to leeds to hear iration steppas.

the mass and mungo's hifi system have been the most hard hitting bass for me. really like the system at dmz cos the bass is weighty but the higher frequencies are still very clear.

iration is alright, but when i was last there they were pushing it way too hard, it was distorting all over the place.

i have to say, NEIGHBOURHOOD SOUNDSYSTEM in that thar west country has blown me away on several occasions

I've had 4 experiences with the Function One sound system here in belgium and so far this is the one that does it for me. Big bass, big sub, big mid and highs. Everything is balanced out perfectly so you can enjoy a very chill and big sound.

i've only ever heard funktion ones sounding shitty and tinny..
mungo's is the best rig i've heard. no doubt.

i've heard punters saying iration is amazing, but i've heard people that've worked with them professionally saying they don't know how to run a rig properly and constantly redline their setup!

SUBHEAVY soundsystem gets a very honourable mention too!

unoriginal answers from me to be honest...

but the best soundsystems i have experienced thus far...

Plastic People
Mass
Mungo's Hi-Fi
Iration Steppas (very powerful & impressive but maybe alittle too loud at times IMO...)
Valve
Dirt

Ive heard about this system from a guy in my area. The amount of enthusiasm he had was incredible so i cannot wait to hear these as apparently they're being used at glade this year. Anyone for that matter know exactly what they're going to have in the Vapour tent?

have got to say this is the best sound system i have had the pleasure to play on/hear

built with love by people who have been in the underground music scene for years specifically to deal with the frequencies u hear in rave style music(s)

but at the end of the day you can have the best sound system in the world and if its set up wrong/engineered badly then it dont mean shit

id say valve used to be cool when not that many people went, was fuckin well loud! but as its got more popular im sure theyve turned it down..not as special.
However in Sheffield theres a sick system floating around - 20Hz sound-system using "HOG BASS CANNONS" - pretty sick.

Oh and check out "KING EARTHQUAKE" - also big boy sounds.
SHACKLES - ROTTUN RECORDS - THE AFTERMATH EP - "BEHEMOTH" - OUT NOW.

Fuck Guys if you can fork over the cash one year come to BC and go to the Shambhala music festival. Theres a stage called the village with a 100,000 watt soundsystem with Bass that cant be explained. This year we've got Benga, Excision, Eprom, Spor, Ewun, Bassnectar, Atomic Hooligan and many more. Youtube that shit
