Cheap way to vent yer hot laptop

four beer caps underneath it, gives it just enough space to keep it cool...insanely unconventional, but works...lol...

yeah and if you've got it on your lap in bed, put it on a book because it'll keep she cooler. increased surface area. don't put your laptop on your duvet!

i spilt a whole cup of tea on my laptop and it still works. trust me

I use the old shelves from my now sadly deceased beer fridge, they're perfect, not too big, nor too small as they'll fit anything from lil' netbooks and 13" jobbies up to 17" beasts. Due to the way the shelf had a little lip at the back, now when it's upside down it elevates my laptop gently towards me at an angle. I saw something similar once on instructables.com except the muppet had actually bought the wire to make one with, but now that I mention it he's probably still got a working beer fridge :x
