Long time listener, first time poster. I'm still sorting out some of the dubstep tracks I'm working on, but am looking some general production comments on my other tracks.

comments?!? ;)
you have something, some variation in the synth wouldn't hurt, like change the rate of modulation....Overall it's just a bit, so it's tough to see where exactly it's going to go.....snare could bang a bit harder I reckon...Hope that helps.

The percussion sounds good, maybe a vocal dub that extends for 8 bars at a time or something like that. Maybe experiment with some vocal dubz, some deep rootzie type of rasta dub would work. Some deep wide synth behind it could really back up the atmosphere you are creating with that rootsie type of percussion.....The overall structure sounds really good.... hope that helps...ez

Ah nice one man! Some wicked feedback.

Yeah I was planning on working on some kind of pad behind the main bit but nothings felt right yet. Made a white noise/rain type noise in the beginning with a fucked around hi hat but want to switch it up when it drops. Ive never made anything with a drop before though, tend to make progressive type things...its all new to me and i dont really know how to go about it lol (its good fun playing around though) Tried to make a bit of a crescendo out of the noise at the beginning, but dunno if it worked that well...

As for a vocal I cant say id thought of that! Was never really aiming for anything particular with the percussion, its definitely the most fun bit for me, just kind of seeing where it leads me. But yea, ive never used a vocal before, but I spose in the spirit of trying something new ill give it a go! Gonna have a listen now and see what I think :D

Again, cheers man! Im finding this tune a bit of a headfuck lol

ave a butchers peeps. I'll give feedback to the next 3 instead of the 3 above..

EDIT: Know the vocal samples are a bit hidden in some parts & gets a bit "to" busy towards the end, I just listened back through soundcloud and was like "deep" hehe but opinions on general vibe/concept!? :)

I see you're new so i'll be nice - but you posted.. half an hour ago in this thread with the same link, thats a bit of a hog and isn't what this threads about - be patient.

DirtyStill : Subs nice, a bit to many sounds going on at once, it seems really messy - space, pace and bass.. take sounds out and bring more in don't just play all your melodies at the same time - it could be a pretty good track if you took some more time on the structure.

Wop: Kinda the same as Dirty Still - you need to get more of a structure in there, the drums don't have much groove and they carry the track in 'most' dubstep songs. Again if you structured it properly it could potentionally be a good track.

The intro is good, but I don't think carrying that synth into the main part of the track is a good idea, it takes away from the intro some....

For the intro, maybe delay a kick drum to give it sort of an ambient feel, delay some hihats, that kind of thing, experiment with some sounds and some delays.......

Just a suggestion, maybe find some other ambient noises for the meat of the track.....ez

I would say not much dude, this is tight! Honestly a reverse kick drum lets say every 8 bars would really work that drum line and get it moving just a bit more, reverse a kick drum right at the end of the 8th bar and have it roll right into the lead kick on the next bar.....

This is a dope track, get everything mixed up and you should be sitting proper.....ez

Some sick ideas going on here! Can't help but get slightly put off by the heavy distortion - its fuzzing A LOT! (might just be my headphones)

The drums are nice and the ides are there, a nice mix and i'd say its finished :)

I can't help but think there two tracks in here. the percussion is very soft and techy and the drums are crisp and clean, opposed to the basslines which are very aggressive and in your face - I personally would work on one or the other to make it sit better overall ! some vitiation / progression would be great too.

Great for your first track, I am not putting you down hehe, just sometimes wobble can take a back seat :)
