No this is probably a blatant vocal sample. Also: Joker was there first.

There is a peice of music at the beggining of one of the games that is the main sound bed for archangel, like strings and choir's etc.

Load's of his drum sounds are sampled from there aswell, shows how high the production value is on the audio on games

The intro of 2, right when Snake jumps off the bridge. I totally bought the game again (lost my copy from when I was young) just for that. lpl

Metal Gear Solid is so good for sampling, a wealth of sound in those games.

what about Final Fantasy? given the amount of artists who have acredited Final Fantasys music as a major influence on their sound, there must be a fair few out there like..

mgs has one of the most epic soundtracks. and the first one is probably the best game ever.

It uses the codec sound and the sound when the guards have just spotted you. I think it also uses the music for when your walking around in that area where you fight Psycho Mantis. Burial is quite subtle with his sampling and uses them for effect, obviously dub mechanics wanted to make a tune that obviously uses these samples that people recognize, wouldn't be surprised if the name of the tune is something to do with metal gear solid

The tune is called "spotted" by dub mechanics I believe. Any recent chef show will have audio.
