Shishio - new producer, check me out please !

Post by shishio » Tue Jul 14, 2009 4:43 pm

Hey! I'm shishio! I've always been into dubstep and someday i thought why not starting producing it?
So here is my myspace: http://www.myspace.com/shishiomusic

you can check my tunes there. they are not mastered yet..

i try to do a diferent kind of dubstep, recently i tried to make tunes that combine trancy stuff with the wobbly basslines, but now i'm trying to do something more filth. you can check that in my tune called "mental hotline"

So, please, have a listen and all the feedback and criticism is apreciated :)

peace
shishio

you need to sort out balance tho, get the drums louder! and i reckon you could sex up intro, i not so keen on so long of arping. Esp not when track fades out so soon!! :)
keep it up

err gonna be honest, you asked for feedback - trance arps in the intro then dubstep in the main, with no real innovation on the the intro side - whats the point?
no one wants to hear trance at a dubstep rave, sorry. make one or make the other.
main bit's alright.

I'll have to disagree slightly, no disrespect to d1rt1989. You have a point the intro has no involvement with the main part of the track, it does sound a lil odd. but its possible to incorporate snipits of the trancy bit in the main tune i reckon.
I don't see the problem with trance vibes on a dubstep track, dubstep is incorporating every other genre and making it its own sound... why not trance too?... its just a matter of opinion ;)
but thats only regards to 1 or 2 of your tracks.
Summer of love is a really nice piece! maybe needs to be a bit more bass heavy to do it justice.
Anyways, keep it up.
Peace!
