drum and bass MC's need to die
So I'm listening to an Andy C mix..... And these fucking MCs won't shut the fuck up..... 1000 miles a minute of pure nonsense. Can someone tell me why they think it sounds good? I can't imagine someone actually liking this. Now I love dancehall chatter like the next guy, but these MC's aren't even saying anything, I swear. It's fucking pointless.

SP:MC is the only one i look for on a flyer (or used to at any rate)
He used to leave plenty of space for drops and hyped the crowd at choice moments, adding to the flow, not trying for all the attention. I think he's producing a bit of dubstep these days, I heard something of his on electronic explorations about a year back. Bassman was always entertaining
Problem is that's 2 decent MC's, I'll leave it to someone else to list the shit ones

The ratio between the two is depressing tho ...
Only DnB mc's i like hearing on a set are Fats, GQ, Dynamite, 2Shy & SP.

Dynamites a good call, can over do it but generally adds something to a tune rather than ruin it. I've not been to a dnb night in years, is there anyone moving onto the scene? The names listed here have been around since the turn of the milleniumFused Forces wrote:Thats real talk right there.Eops wrote:Nothing better than a good MC

they seem to be essential to get the crowd going in some regions
I'm just glad where I live isn't one of them, and most people around here seem to have a similar opinion of MCs in general.

Sometimes it can be absolutley shocking what kind of drivel comes out of peoples mouths but there are a couple of good ones that really amplify the sound you hear MC Conrad and there is a guy round these parts called Mantmast who I really rate as one of the best I have ever heard all the others can pack there bags and go home if they want to feel special they can mop the djs brow while he is cueing in a record.
