Knew people would start coming around

More labels + artists need to get on it to spread news on releases, dates etc. - i just have to look in one place rather than visiting various people's myspace page etc. Also it's how I keep track of who's playing on Rinse.

^ however I'm not sure why random people I don't know occasionally start 'following' me... it's not like I post anything interesting... have only ever changed my status like 5 times

same. sometimes i have really random people following me, hence why i made my shit private.

It is the same reason why you have 25,000 people as friends on myspaz. People use those numbers as a status symbol I guess. If you don't post that much it guarantees they stay following you, it is those that post every time they have a bowel movement that get un-followed.

I don't use it as much as I did when I first log on but I still think it's pretty sweet. It is the simplicity that makes it great. Same reason I still love my aim and conversely hate Facebook and Myspace. It sucks trying to maintain what is essentially a full featured website. I have a legit website, why can't people just go on there?

twitter got big when people thought DJ Khaled was in a police chase in a white Bentley..

also here in LA we have the Kogi BBQ truck ( Korean bbq tacos) that tweets it's location, so awesome!

Granted I've never used Twitter so I can't talk stink about it, but I do know that my brain is already drowned by the daily bombardment of media stimulus.

There's already an infinite amount of ways involving a computer to spend my free time, and there's already so much data flying at me from all directions, I don't need to up the bytes per second of media I ingest in my daily life.

Twitter is just this year's big thing. It will soon be replaced by something even more technologically dazzling, like the EgoBlaster 3000 or something.
