Anyone made any Acid in Reason?

Post by serox » Wed Jul 15, 2009 9:08 am

I have a few good VSTs for making acid but was wondering if it is possible to get any good Acid sounds in Reason.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

ah yeah I remember trying to do this ages ago but could not get it to work. I can re-wire FL and Reason but how do you do it from Rebirth? I could not find the re-wire option in the menus.

Actually I couldn't even work out how to export Rebirth loops as .wav files or anything extension that Reason could open

it's a daw joke, I was playing on the word Acid in this context being the genre of music, and implying it meant the daw "acid pro" I then took the joke further by replacing acid with reason and reason with cubase,

joke invented - 15/07/2009

joke failed - shortly after

joke explained with added fail - even sooner after that

In case you are not joking, no. It works on most common OS available.

Thanks for the help I got it working np. Something I noticed tho is that when in rewire mode you cannot use the FX in Rebirth.

I forgot how good the drum kits were on Rebirth.
