..this is actually very difficult to photograph because it is enamel - layers of glass basically..I made these from scratch so there has to be, for the left piece..at least 15 layers..and from the darker right piece.. probably over 30 layers easy..

I was born weighing less than 1lbs. I fit onto my mothers palm, about the size of a sml ketchup bottle my mom would buy doll clothes for me to wear! I was about 3months pre-mature!

Thank god I'm not retarded...seriously!

I was nearly arrested for pissing next to the iceland in Brixton. I wouldn't have minded so much but, there was a guy selling crack about ten yards from me. The police didn't bat an eyelid at that though.

I've read, in their entirety:

The Bible [King James]

The Book of Mormon

The Rig Veda.

The Sham Veda

The Yajur Veda.

The Satanic Bible.

A picture book about a little Rasta mouse.

Also, my dad is one of the most senior Hindu priests in the UK and has an MBE because of it.

As such, I need to stand there for a few seconds, get the timing right, and put my foot onto a fully emerged step. It's annoying, especially for people behind me.
Mate it took me years not to shit absolute bricks getting on a down escalator.

Same vision of crumpled corpse as you lol.
I was the same as this for years but have got used to them more recently. It's all about keeping your momentum from walking to them going, once you stop its alot harder..

The shop where i work are tight-fisted gits and when the up (left) escalator stopped working, instead of repairing it they just switched them around so the one on the left now goes down and the one on the right goes up. This may not seem like such a big deal in principle, but i've come to realise that sub-conciously everyone just assumes the escalator on the left goes up & the escalator on the right goes down.
It's mental the amount of people who are unphased by escalators and don't even look at them when they step on.... Soooo many accidents with people walking straight onto an escalator that's coming towards them when they want to go upstairs, totally shit bricks and fall on their arses.

I find it impossible to step on or off a stationary escalator. For some reason my mind/body/subconscious seems to expect there to be a difference between the steps and the floor still and I go all wobbley.

Everytime this is... no matter how many times I mutter under my breath "it's not moving... just step on/off as if it wasn't there".

Does anyone else get this?! :x

Not that I've noticed! Deffo gonna have to check that next time though.

While we're discussing the exciting subject that is escalators - does anyone ever get the urge to run up a down escalator or run down and up escalator?
