The lyrics need to be louder than the bass is the most obvious bit, but i think you've missed the real point of this song.

The singing is emotional and deep, there is real potential for atmosphere her, like skream's in for the kill remix, go more minimal i think, make your bass alot lower, just leave the vocals out in the opne, drums high, bass low, and let the vocals punch
