ta for the feedback cynic. so here's what i think - good ideas, well into the lfo bass and the flute. this part deffo works

not so into the double time section after the vocal... plus the drums sound a bit dry (fxs-wise) i'd stick a bit of reverb/delay on em and phatten up the kick

overall tho it has the makings of a quality track :)

word thanks for the listen...i made the tunes for one of my homies to play at a dancehall/dnb night, so i kinda liked switching it up in there.

def added some more verb to the snare, i think it sounds better now. good idea.

melody sounds a bit like Kunta Kinte (legendary dub) with a coupla notes at the end changed! have u heard it? (or dnb version) could be a coincidence its a pretty simple flute line anyway

anyway...good points- like the delayed chords a lot, also i love the kunta kinte line whether you borrowed it or not, but i think the sound u chose for it is a bit thin. i would beef it up with some fx or get a diff sample/patch

later on when it speeds up would go down well at a dnb dance or for ravers at garage/dubstep night, but some of the sounds (drums n bass) dont feel heavy enough. snare is ok.

dunno where the accapella is from but the snippets seem to fit well

keep on

i'm really feeling this track! the bass is nice and heavy, the vocal sample comes in at a nice time, and the double time bit is my favourite part. nice job! :D

yeah i played the flute line from memory....i know the same line has been used in at least 10 tracks. kind of why i did it, as a reference/respect to all the king tubby, scientist, etc that i've listened to through the years :)

it's a m-tron line, as i couldn't find any melodica samples (and i don't have one here at the studio)
