besides being a WICKED remix artist and sound designer, i can vouch for ill Gates' bad-ass work in ableton. those of you looking to step up your game-- he's got a ton of really, really well thought out (and ultimately USEFUL and GOOD-SOUNDING) templates and presets. check 'em out!

thanks TeReKeTe!
the DJ templates are for the trigger finger.
imho the apc isn't really the best for a live show because it doesn't have ends on the knobs. you need to be able to feel your controller and not be staring at it the whole time. it's also real easy to hit shift, turn on an effect, and then accidentally leave it on.
all the info on my templates is here:

lots of love

you'd be best building your own rig then tbh. i can sort you out with some ableton racks, but i stopped doing custom templates a while ago. too time consuming... i gotta write music and tour after all.Deadly Habit wrote:ah see i'm building my own midibox 64 atm and would prolly be lugging about some racks with me too and possibly playing bass or an electronic drumkit on top of apc
looking for something convenient i can use while playing either of those instruments to do quick changes

Killer, would love to pick up some templates and trigger finger scripts from you...
Maybe some of the finished tracks too... Did you write that "kaleidoscope" tune that you played out at Temple after Tipper (last year) and Raindance (last year)
That tune is so sick! Is there any way to find out what tunes are available, I am very interested in baggin some to remix
Bless
