the crossfaders no good if you like cutting and scratching even though theres 3 settings - sharp / medium / slow gradient on it

as for going in the red, theres nothing wrong with the levels flicking into it momentarily , its when there running in the red constantly or theres no movement in the level meter as its just cranked red to the top !!!1!

seen tooooo many dj's crank it in the red and the dancefloor is a pianfull place to be

dont do it :)

cant afford the 800, and love my 600 :)

PIONEERS ARE DOPE

if I get booked and I see an 800 or 600 in the booth, I am cool

numark, vestax, urei etc...

I am pissed

+ for mackie mixers

handle multiple signals with ease

i'm still pissed
we had a 600 at work that needed like 350$ to refurb completely for 1$ they wouldn't let me buy
i mean i dislike pioneers for mixers due to sound but thats a bargain

I have djm 400 in home use, and thats just fine.
But I think If someones planning to buy a mixer,
it is really a question of what you need for it ?
what functions and abilities
are best suitable for your use ?
thats why there are different ones.. right ?

I've been playing with rane ttm56s and 57s at the club and I personally like them. DJM 600 I dont like, the sound is definately worse than with rane, and the master SLIDE-FADER is a total dance-floor-killer if you accidentaly hit it while making your best mixing moves :D

I still somehow like the pioneer "split"-cue-thing, "master on left headphone, channel on right one"-thing, Its really handy when playing at really loud club.
