Je m'en fish 001 (2009) : Belgian dubstep release

Post by jemenfish » Sat Jul 25, 2009 5:00 pm

Je m'en fish is an organisation for the promotion of Belgian producers. Had been a while since we released anything, so this time we went for a 12'', and probably first one of a series of releases coming up of Belgian producers.

Image

It will be largely a promotional item for the producers to get into the spotlight, so there will only be a very limited number for sale, and the ones that are will be available for no more than 5 euro's.

A
Aphone - Double Step (Myrkur Remix)
Bunzer0 - Second meeting

B
Tyronn - Rumble (Forsaken Remix)
Grimelock - T Rox

Official street date is 01 October.

Free copies will be available at the following release and pre-release events to the first visitors:

11/09 Rust, Copenhagen, Danmark
12/09 Platform4, Aalborg, Danmark

02/10 Premetro Anneessens, Brussels, Belgium
03/10 Bink36, Den Haag, NL
09/10 Fuse, Brussels, Belgium
31/10 Biouel Boat, Brussels, Belgium

Either you get to one of our events where there will be free copies in October (Belgium/Netherlands/Danmark), or there will be a small run available here and there online but VERY limited number as more than half is destined for promo use.

We're still waiting for the promotional info sheet before I put it up left and right; Straight promo's available at Lost in music store in Brussels atm, that's all.

will be available online in netherlands, don't think I'll do an online ordering method myself, but they should be available on discogs soon through lost in music.
Big up Je m'en fish.

How do you pronounce that?
Yeah, better listen to FOB, trying to explain that on a forum...nah :)

Yeah technically it means I don't give a damn if it is written 'Je m'en fiche'. The fish thing is a wordplay on a very old now defunct other music collective.

And for the whole full blahblah some not so recently updated blah: http://jemenfish.be/general-info
