Well, you'll be marvelling at me for something whatever the case, might as well make it my audacity instead of my charm, wit, charity work, good looks, pleasant odour and penis the size of a bicycle pump.

that was ill- albeit I was wtf? half the time cuz of my junglist upbringing...
the rephlex tour cooincided with my spring break so I saw the entire crew again in SF the next night! I think the basslines invaded my system that weekend and have never left. :)
you were in SF that night? good one. Mark killed it over the other boys.
I was reeling the entire night. club 6's basement is amazing. there were some pretty good breakdancers doing their thing upstairs as well- I probably watched them for an hour!
that's wild that you were there as well dood! I love it!!

My mate played me the Artwork EP on Big Apple when it first came out and the first Tempa Allstars a few years ago, but my first purchase was Distance's Nomad when it was released.
I was still bang into my techno and general electronic weirdeness, but once I bough Nomad I never looked back.
First night was DMZ in february (or was it january?) 2006, would have gone to one earlier, but I was out of the country from Spetember 2003 until July 2005.
Anyway making up for lost time now...

I lost mine way back when on a rather uneventful vinyl shopping trip to London, I got my mate to stop off at Pure Groove in Archway where I purchased BAM002 Benga - Dose/Skank and some Wiley bits.

I was looking for instrumental 2 step stuff to mix up with electro...

pretty much the same, not sure what to class as my first 'dubstep' purchase though as in my mind wonder's what probably gets put more into the grime spectrum of things. I had been listening to hatcha and crazy d back when they were on flight 101.5 dunno if that counts as dubstep or garage?
All these names and genres and subgenres confuse me
