New to Dubstep

Post by d-line » Sat Jul 25, 2009 3:40 pm

I'm just getting into Dubstep, and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of essential tunes that i need to get hold of.

Any advice would be really cool

cheers

d-line.....ALWAYS search for what your looking for because the chances are someone has posted it infact.. i have seen several threads recently on what your looking for....if u want to get into production look at the production bible

dubstep has a lot of variety so try to say what u like..eg old skool skream, benga or even some of the more filthy jump up wobblers of rusko, cookie monsta, trolley snatcha, or some liquidy calm stuff like DFRNT

if u havent heard any of those beats i would recommend u listen..

enjoy and welcome to DSF

Definitely a copy of the Caspa & Rusko Fabriclive-37 album! It is esssential!

A lot of different styles of dubstep there and loads of classics.

Born To Do It
Girl From Codeine City
Cockney Violin
Cockney Thug

are old favourites of mine.

It really depends on what artists/style you heard before and liked. Whats your experience of dubstep?
