REAL QUESTION:

- How did you learn to mix your tracks?
- Was there a "a ha" technique/moment you had when you felt like you went to the next level with mixing?

mixing came down to a+bing tunes i looked up to mastered or not, a solid ref on speakers i used

"a ha" def goes genre wise i make a lot o genres so some i drew influence from preserved dynamics and obvious hardware shit, basically get a good ear on your speakers listen to your influence and ref tracks alot and experience determining if ya can do digital wise or have to buy that cheap old analog piece of gear and do the hassle of running and re-recording
ie cheap tascam 4 track for old boc sound vs vintage warmer or current tape sat plugins
analog cheap investments offer that lil imperfection digital doesn't offer

edit: ie cheap tape unit a finger on tape for a sec a simple flutter
