EQ for Mac + Novation ReMOTE SL 61 Questionz

Right, hi every1... I have 2 questionz :

1) I am looking for a proper AU/VST EQ for Mac to be used in ableton. What I want is something like EQ in Logic, which analyzes frequency of the sound and allows you to change the EQ settings and see the result right away. Any suggestions?

2) Any can comment on Novation ReMote SL 61, thinking about buying it, sick of oxygen 8 :)
