Jamie Vex'd (Planet Mu/Hotflush)
Vex’d were some of the most important early innovators of dubstep. With early 12” releases making a huge impression on the embryonic scene, the 2005 LP Degenerate (Planet Mu) established their credentials as some of the most talented and sonically ambitious producers in electronic music. While the follow up to that album is still in the works, one half of the duo, Jamie has more recently been writing alone and very occasionally setting into the DJ world, where his mixes of some the freshest sounds from the UK with the distorted Vex’d snarl have destroyed dancefloors across the globe.

A.M.T (BRD BASSS)
With their first official release in the starting blocks, Anne Khan (PAK/GER) and Robert Defcon (USA/GER) herald a new era for sex, basss and groove: German expressionism in spectacular style. As a hip hop/pop/dancehall hybrid, their debut single >>Schwerer Junge<< sets BRD BASSS` agenda for credible commercial music with an acute political edge. With a pioneering approach citing influences wich range from old skool hip hop, crunk, french house to dancehall, A.M.T blend genderology and deconstructive discourse with orgiastic tracks and a hard rocking show.

DJ Maxximus, Mackjiggah (Warp/Kool.POP/Police In Helicopter)
Ever and anon this two djs and producers are pushing things forward for the representation of Dubstep on Berlin dancefloors. Starting as an artist for ClubTresor, DJ Maxximus went through various stages of bass loaded underground music in the last ten years. His release with Something J on Warp Records in 2001 set a musical course that could only lead him to Grime and Dubstep a while later. That s when he met Kool.POP. artist Mackjiggah, with whom he continued to spread that sound to date. DJ Maxximus` party series BassTheWorld stands for the manifestation of dubstep in this city.
