him, gunna, buck, fix dot, youngs, boost, snap and all the peckham/walworth people are smacking it right now
made me unashamed to talk about uk hiphop again, for too long it was associated with nerdy shy kids from small towns trying to emulate mid 90's NYC rappers but without the swag
flow is so on point u just can't see it, thats how fucked it is.. only certain people can listen to this kind of music and delivery and enjoy it. i understand that.. same as wobblaz.. i hate wobblaz but i can see why others love it.
"each to their own"
ps. boomblast is better than ur favourite producer, any genre
you think i'm just trying to get a rise out of you?
your post was ridiculous..quite a few people including myself really do listen to everything and therefore find it easier to have an objective opinion on all genres....for each individual there is only 2 kinds of music...good & bad...whether it's folk, jazz, grime, afrobeat or uk pap like this anyone will hold a viewpoint that knows their music...you slated any hip-hop as far as i can see that falls into the 'hip-hop' category as it isn't completely vacuous & deluded nonsense like this (this isn't hip-hop that's for sure - i fail to see what elements of hip-hop it contains)
music like this is the problem not the solution to uk music being more credible...i love how the insult of backpack rappers gets thrown around so easily when in the modern age they really are the only people making good music within the genre...compare stuff labeled as hip-hop now with stuff like dead prez, black star, the roots etc and it's a fucking joke
groups like cannibal ox get slated by 'real' hip-hop heads when they are superior in every way save for it's lack of accessibility to morons used to music doing nothing but talking about stuff (material possessions), shooting people, back in the day, which gang you roll with, how you did so so well to get out of the ghetto, fucking etc etc etc
that's what i would have posted first time round but couldnt be arsed hence the o rly...
i could name producers btw within dubstep, breakbeat, electro, d&b & hip-hop that sound better than boomblast..
but hey this is just my opinion right so i'm entitled to it?
i hope i haven't offended you
