Post by trench » Mon May 11, 2009 4:26 pm

I'm looking for a new super hot mix.... you know the one. The kind of mix that you listen to non-stop for a week or two.

So, what's the best mix you've heard all year? a link to were I can get it would also be appreciated.

p.s. I love the wompy stuff

DJ JSL's april mix. I've been listening to it none stop recently.

It should still be on the main page of the mixes forum.

i'm going to have to refer you to the above Ben UFO mix.
he also did one for Fact mag earlier this year i think.... he's just gotten so sick... he was sick since 2006 and he has not diminished at all since then... the fabric mix is one of the first this year that really takes me back to the fucking heart or whatever of this music.

like...a lot of the stuff ive enjoyed so far in 2k9 has either been funky or 'wonky' (eg joker, rustie, fly lo)... but this feels like classic dubstep to me

geez, I'm 18 mins in and loving every second of this. NICE recommendation. While I'm at it, what is the track at 17-18 minute, it's so nice. This is a very interesting kind of dubstep. Unlike anything I've heard before. Sounds like some downtempo/chill/laid back grooves mIxed with breaks. Really mint stuff, not hi-nrg stuff played by Benga/Skream
