I just had my first lucid dream in ages. Apart from a strange night-time one when I was stoned about a month back, this was my first lucid session in about 3 years. I remembered it was incredibly blissful, but I didn't remember exactly how blissful. Fuck me, it is pure bliss. Any drug high compared to this is nothing, I think heroin would struggle to replicate that level of bliss. It's so strong when you wake up you expect an afterbuzz, but it's just like "Oh. I'm awake now." Anyway onto the dream
Basically I felt a bit tired and went for a nap. I was lying on my back diagonally across my bed with my head at the foot of my bed and half-off the bed (so my dreads were hanging down but my head was supported). I think going to sleep in a strange position makes it more likely you're going to lucid dream, because you're more likely to remember the position you're sleeping in. Anyway I started lucid dreaming and it was amazing. The early ones are hard to remember, because there were so many, they all kinda blurred into one.
What was actually happening is that I'd dream, it'd stop, and then it would feel like I had woken up. I could sense the position I was lying in, "see" the room around me, and feel that if I moved a muscle I could wake up, but I wouldn't and then another dream cycle would start. And this period is where it was absolute bliss. I had a few dreams where I was just interacting with my dream world, but in the gap after my last one I decided I would push my limits and try to create/maintain my own dream world.
I decided the best way to do this would be to make it like a video game then my dream started. Everything was black and loads of start screens like this started flashing past

, like the old windows screensaver when the windows logos would zoom towards the screen. There were a few videogame titles but a few screens said my name on them. I decided a platformer would be the best one to do. I chose one, but it was a timed Sonic style platformer, I decided I didn't want a time limit so I went back to the screen and chose one that was more like Mario (I have no idea how I knew this).
I then went into 2D platformer mode. I was controlling myself in 3rd person fighting all these random enemies, and walking around the stage, but I could change the stage as I went along, not physicall but I'd walk back and thinking what I wanted to be there I could change the stage. Then I got to the boss fight, and it went into first-person 3d fighting style mode. I wasn't fighting Satan but whoever it was I kicked his arse. Then I hit the finisher. If anyone has played Bloody Roar it was like one of Xion's combos loads of spinning punches and kicks, and flying kicks and stuff I was moving ridiculously quickly. Then I beat the boss went back into bliss mode and I woke up so I could remember it.

Hahaha I just remembered this. In one of the early ones I got some blonde chick (a TV show character... alright Ronnie off Eastenders, I have a weird thing for her) to give me head. But when she started doing it, I did get the sensation of a blowjob on my dick but I also got the sensation on my tongue. So I tried to close my eyes, because I thought it was maybe because I could see her doing it, and I went back to bliss mode. That was disturbing...
I've gotta say it's pretty hard to do to actually imagine the dream world, hard to change, I would actually sometimes get glitches. That's maybe why I could only do it in 2d. I can imagine going somewhere new, I can imagine meeting someone and meet them, but actually trying to create the dream world is something else. It's either the next level of lucid dreaming or it's just unachievable by the human mind.
I haven't had a lucid dream yet but sutm quite close and have been following this thread so thought I wld post.
In dreamstate someone - and old trustworthy guy I later imagine to be a version of Tim Leary or sum1 similar- gave me a drug to take and i fell into a state of bliss like falling into a pool of swirling light and it felt like th most intense MDMA rush. I woke up immediately after and it was the middle of the night and felt like i had been abducted by aliens- it was so trippy i was like still between 2 worlds in the dark
I have also been reading about curing yourself in your dreams and things happening to your body/immune system while u sleep. I def felt like someone was 'helping me' on the other side. really weird.
anyone else had anything similar?
ps. i dont do much drugs, never trips and gave up green recently

i suffered an epic fail last night- had a dream where i was telling my mate all about lucid dreaming- how you can fly, how you can summon people etc- but i STILL didn't realise i was dreaming or become lucid
only had a ten second one so far, and i got overexcited and woke up. i'm being patient about it though!
anyone tried using binaural beats to help them? it's where you play two sounds at slightly different frequencies, one into your left and one into your right ear- then your brain perceives a beating tone occurring between the two sounds. people use them for relaxation and meditation etc
apparently you can use this to wake your brain up by raising the frequency to create alpha waves when you're in the deepest kind of sleep- in theory this will trigger your brain into it's 'awake' state, but still keep you dreaming.
i created one (loads of free software about), which raises the frequency every 90 mins for about 5 minutes, but it was pretty rubbish- i woke up every time the frequency raised and now i've got a headache
worth a try again though i think- apparently it can work.

had an out of.body.expenrience the other night...
was either that, or it was a lucid dream about having an o.b.e.
laying in bed with girlfreind, but half asleep/awake in a dream with her driving her car. sitting in passenger seat only im not there--'i'm' kinda just outside the window. i keep asking ' am i in the car? am i in the car? ''
all of this while simultaneously snapping back to laying back in bed kinda paraylised with the familiar feeling of the kundalini flowing quite strong (chakras) --switch back to car as its accerating then back to bed but with the sound of the car accelerating still there, feels like theres hinges in my feet as the thought of acceleration from the car acts as the force that pushes me out/up----i float up to the wall opposite bed and slowly willed myself to turn around.
see gf laying there in bed but my first thought is 'fuck, i dont want her to wake up and see me floating up here cos it will freak her out alot'
then before i have a chance to do much else, i can hear my sister running up the stairs which automatically snaps me back into my body but with the feeling of being pushed really hard and fast into the back of the head...minus the pain but still with the shock of impact.
have had an o.b.e before but in the form of pure energy--no physical framework. much astral exploration awaits in the future. pretty sure the same dimension can exist from a different set of perceived frequencies.... cant word exactly what i mean right now but yeah...was 'cool'
