SNOOP DOGG MILLIONAIRE?.........Nah, CHAINS!!!!!!

Post by neptune333 » Mon Jul 20, 2009 11:11 pm

So we made this track at the very begining of the DUBRAPS mixtape,
which was around summer 2008. Shortly after recording our take of the track on the Eastern Jam we came across Snoopdog's version "Snoop dog millionaire". Although he beat us to it on the release here is "CHAINS"
our version.Let us know what you think...
Big up to Chase and Status for this Dubstep riddim. Peace!

vocal production sounds real real tight. nice work.

edit: still find it surprising that american mcs are jumping on riddims like this.

Someone posted Vol 1 a few weeks ago here, had a listen then, been playing it every damn day. This and "Fuck that" are amazing.

yeah i dont get it either, its just a very "full" track, cant put anything else on it with it sounding way crowded.

BUT it actually sounds well mixed, not like the Snoop shit. the vocals and beat arent fighting so much.

surprised myself liking this! Sounds like the snoop dogg thing, without the mistakes they made (too much vocal in the mix, horrible (i.m.humble o.) chorus)
Still I think even the original of this tune is a bit crowded with elements
Big up for the effort, there's potential

that dude sounds like nate dogg haha, sick stuff though...an underground project has better end-quality than a multi-million dollar established rapper...ouch
