Does anyone know when any new Burial material will be released? I know Moth/Wolf Club came out not too long ago but I remember reading on his myspace that he would be coming with some new songs but that was almost a year ago

and I guess DJ Kicks won't be happening.
Sorry, I know it's a silly question.

kode9 mentioned burial in the list of hyperdub ''5'' compilation artists on his twitter
''HDBCD005 will feature Ikonika, Cooly G, Darkstar, Zomby, Joker & Ginz, Samiyam, Flying Lotus, Mala...'' etc
''Also featuring Burial, 2000F & J Kamata, & Warrior Queen''

i think that second bit refers to the fact that cd2 contains a load of older hyperdub material that hasn't been on cd before. i guess 'south london boroughs' will probably be on it. there's no mention of new burial tracks on the five 12"s of new tracks that make up cd1.

He's working on an album isn't he? I'm sure kode mentioned him in the list of hyerdubbers doing an album on benji b's show a while back.

There's an album slated for the end of this year isn't there? At least last I read from kode 9. Besides, no better time to release a Burial album than the middle of the winter.

Oh wow, thank you all so much for the help

I really appreciate it, esp. since I'm always so out of the loop.

yay! I hope that's true. I'm so impatient. and Lambeth on the 5th anniversary compilation is also very exciting.

I wish he'd release True Love VIP.
Anyone have any other news?

I honestly dont think there has been any other artist regardless of genre who's music I have anticipated more than Burial.
It kills me not having any new music from him
Cant wait much more

I know I said to end the dj kicks thread, but
Non plus records myspace 'Dubstep legend Burial has also seen fit to include it in his upcoming DJ Kicks mix.'
And that was released pretty recently so you never know.

Must be some next pressure
If he doesn't come up with the audio equivalent of the cure for swine flu I personally will launch a nationwide appeal for his home address so I can go round there and post a mildly insulting pamphlet through the letterbox
I deserve it
