Lots of downloadable audio books (Quite old sounding)

Post by wrexile » Sun Aug 09, 2009 10:59 pm

I was looking for a recording of "The Yellow Wallpaper" and stumbled across a large database of lots of radio recordings from quite a few years ago.
I'm sure there'll be lots of samples amongst the lot ;)

So yea, here you go. Check it out

Great link Wrexile. I love how old they sound and the use of the background music is quality on some. The best bits are the intro and outros - with the announcer and ads 8)

You're very welcome all : ) Glad it'll be of use to yoonz ;)

Deadly - I don't have a clue at all. But I'm guessing not as it seems to be focused on stories with elements of "Suspense" (the clue's in the show name). It's gunna take a while to go through them all but it'll be totally worth it.

Yea man they've got a great sound to them ^_^ Some bits of silence could be good for some background noise / ambiance.

I'm just that good  p.s. Your remix of Forensics' "Midnight Sky" is fuckin wicked mate ;) Absolutely love it. Can't wait for the EP to get around! ^_^
