I tried to use ableton for a few days. It's indeed a really nice program to make music on. But i rather stick to cubase 5. IMO the interface and whole outlay in Live is ugly as hell. The 1 thing i do like about live is the fact you can make audio from midi files by simply dragging the midi to a audio track. THAT'S the shit! I hate Steinberg for not including a feature like this in Cubase 5

live lite (formerly live delta for '4') is just live le limited to 4 channels.
i think.
you can do a whole lot with 4 tracks.
edit: actually it's 8.
