Reason pasting clips slightly out of sync?

Post by miscreant » Wed Aug 12, 2009 3:10 pm

I use Reason 4 and Pro Tools 7.4 LE together for my tunes. Recently I've been noticing some reason clips will be pasted slightly off the bar. For example - I'll paste the clip with the marker set directly on the bar, however when i look at the actual parametres of the clip they are some strange place slightly off the bar (ie 3.4.4.789 as opposed to 4.0.0.0).

Not sure if this is something to do with pro tools or reason. anyone else had this problem?

rewire latency issues adjust tempo in reason or in pro tools to compensate
it's a great technology but far from perfect

Its only on some clips though - not really sure why the tempo would affect it as the problem occurs on any tempo i have it at.

nope - its mainly redrum loops ive made and am copying to track that the problem occurs. Everything is set to the right parametres it just puts every second clip in just off beat.

do you have the grid quantize set to "bar" when you cut and paste? if you have it set to 1/32 or 1/64 that might make it go off a little
