My mate Si lives with his mum - she's having somework done on her gaff and asked him to move all the stuff out of his roof and take his bed apart for one particular job, which he did - what she neglected to say was that it didn't need doing til monday, so now he's got an either empty room with no bed for the weekend, or he can move everything back in and take it all out again on sunday evening, which seems an almighty pain in the arse. i got an ace sofa bed though, so i said he can crash in my house over the weekend.

i've also got to help a mate move house tomorrow, but i couldn't avoid that particuar act of kindness if i tried.
