Anyone here does that?
Because i've always had a feeling it's kinda "noobish" but i might give it a go for my first gig since it's the "easiest" software around, also got traktor but idunno :)

tracktor/serato is the industry standard

vdj isn't brilliant but it works and is a lot of fun

Really been into Traktor since i found it, and i really do enjoy messing around on it (as i haven't bought an audio controller and audio interface yet, it's all i can really do for the moment haha).
but you bought the software right

ive used virtual dj when i used to have a laptop but i found it wasn't that stable enough to play out in clubs although i still did. it would occasionally crash or stutter on me but at the time it was the only way i could play my music out

LOWKI uses virtual dj all the time to play out and he never has problems wiv it. something i cant get my head around.

its bug with the latest version .... the software will crash if you try to use any type of controller with it ..... you should use v5 b/c its more stable ;)
