I went to cuba and found that the nightlife was mostly clubs playing badly mixed house and top 40 for tourists, and local clubs playing hispanic hits. The local ones are pretty fun but most of the music is rather cheesy.
No hint of dubstep though :( , not gettin enough in montreal :) ?

Nah it's not that... I have to go to St-Vincent to see some family and I'll be passing through Cuba... just wanted to know if there was some dubstep action over there. Oh well.

Not sure about Dubstep, but for a good party in general, Santiago knows how to get down.
19th October - Jahtari Presents Tapes EP Launch Party @ Gramaphone, London w/ Tapes, Clause Four & International Observer.
23rd October - Galway, Ireland.
31st October - UFO @ Dojo, Bristol w/ Dema.

Kinda pointless going to a country like that to experience music you can hear in your own backyard surely. That said I wonder if there is a dubstep scene in China - I'm guessing not.

Cheesey House and local music was all I heard when I was in Cuba a few years ago.

Although I played some D&B to the locals and they loved it!!!! Shame they don't go any further with it really

Yep.

Especially when the proper local music in Cuba is so fantastic.
