_x_ album (2005 - 2006)

the _x_ album material was some of the first material i was doing abstract for gigs, and my first actual venue party was opening at a doormouse bbq party here in kansas city. i didnt make the flyer, edenflux thought it would be a good ice breaker for me to warm up 20,000 watts of sound for this party, which i played some of the _x_ projects, sprinkled with pieces of artists i would play with 2 weeks after the bbq, which included fanny, xanopticon, duranduranduran, and abelcain (sweeeet party)

anywayz, so my inspiration for getting into live pa was partially influenced by what doormouse was doing, and i loved the hard sound, so thats kinda where i got my roots of stage presence and interaction. so it was cool when i had clipped a ton of his drumkit samples, and loaded them into abelton 4 using a controller i bought with the software the day before, and improvised half of my live set for him to hear (first time i met the guy)...

so here are the 2 recordings of that night i began my live pa addiction...
