I'm thinking of buying one. If you own one, do you like it? Are there any flaws/limitations with it? If you had to call the customer service, how was that experience?

Had one. Sold it because I keep automating everything from the beginning but if you want to turn knobs that's definitely a nice toy.
Only inconvenience I can think of is you can't go from 0 to 100 % in one shot.
Don't know about the customer service but expect a couple knobs to die after warranty's over, which is not a big deal if you consider there are still ~ 30 left.
I'd say try it.

The only "flaw" is you need to know your midi... If you don't you're screwed. Since you have to program every parameter in the bcr and sequencer.crytek wrote:I'm thinking of buying one. If you're using reason, it's a definite YES. Reason automaticly sets all the controls, love that but i work with cubase (why can't steinberg implement something like that!).
I never dealt with customer service. Behringer sucks big time when it comes to audio products but these controllers are really worth every penny. I have two bcf's in mackie control mode and 1 bcr controllin all my synths. Will post a pic later. everthing works like a charm!

nah i had oneFreq Juggler wrote:IMO people who complain about the bcr's and bcf's have a: never used them or b: don't know how to program them. There's nothing bad about these controllers except for the lack of a screen. I've used three of them for years now and they never failed me.
it's decent i mean even faders and pots on it are decent but right after warranty point gen need replacements which got discontinued and one company bought most of stock of so cost an assload

Any other suggestions then?
The amount of knobs on the bcr is about the max I want. What do you recommend?

Actually looked at the Novation Remote Zero SL. It looks sexy, but it's a shame the faders aren't motorized like the BCF2000 are. Something like this would be perfect imo.
EDIT: In the end, I got the BCR2000. Stoked about it and can't wait till it arrives. I may get the Akai LPD 8 as well.
