Speaking of Borgore, "Sunday Morning" was complete bi-polar shit. That drop was serious.

Init, love it on his Ice Cream Mix, sounds better with the vocal sample.

i've been through and listened to a whole bunch of the tunes named in this thread.

can someone explain to me what's so expected about a lite intro often with halfstep drums followed by a much louder wobble drop?

i mean setting aside the issue of whether you do or don't like the sound of the bassline, can anyone say they honestly didn't expect it when there are just so many of these tunes doing this?
Keysound Recordings, Rinse FM, http://www.blackdownsoundboy.blogspot.com, sub, edge, bars, groove, swing...

^^ this. ive found alot of the gritstep suggestions were abit pants. the drop has to be UNEXPECTED and these aggressive gritstep drops are very predictable.

this still wins for me: untold - anaconda http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PCSKNOGxl0

but kode 9 & ld - BAD is certainly unexpected..

A real unexpected drop IMO is the second part in "too much chat" by mala.

It goes all silent and shit, then some real high bass tones come in with a BEEP BEEP BEEP (coki road rage style) and "lighter lighter lighter lighter" vocal etc with them ninja snares shuffling about...then it drops back down into the original rolling beat and it is completely badass.....

For a more tear out track I always thought "Ill kut ya" was pretty good.. that lurky predator noise... the rewind noise, then that hectic choppy beat comes in.

And also, I couldnt really forget to mention "eyez"
