While my roots are mostly techno, its dub which teached me about drums bass and space and brought me here at dubstep. I feel

when i hear people sayin dub while referrring to dubstep but im starting to accept and welcome it, its all about the bass really!! Its a direction(+s, coz dubstep's too broad) in deep bass research, cant see anything bad with it

I listen to Dub more than I listen to Dubstep. I guarantee that Dub will still be around a long time after Dubstep has been succeeded by something else.

I've not dug to deep into dub but I love what I've heard, plus seeing the Iration Steppas at the West Indian Centre is one of my favourite things to do.

I've loved dub for years and still listening to it more than ever. Hopefully going to be seeing The Upsetter himself soon, Mr. Lee Perry.
I agree, makes me cringe when people refer to dubstep as dub, especially when referring to some of the least "dubby dubstep".
