I aint from croydon.. just an outsider looking in..

But since i was a little boy & having the pleasure of traveling to croydon & the delights of the drummond & whitgift centres I have always been besotted with Croydon girls..

Jeff Beck (Guitarist)
Kate Moss (Model)
Derren Brown (Psychological Illusionist)
Keith Berry (Musician & Composer)
Malcolm Muggeridge
Kirsty MacColl (Musician)

So basically it looks like Kate Moss and Kirsty MacColl (RIP) as top Croydon ladies. And one's dead. Maybe some Croydonistas might want to update the list

Contrary to her claims that she lost her virginity on a Caribbean beach, Kate Moss actually popped her cherry on a tombstone in a Croydon graveyard (alongside other rattly old bones) according to an old classmate. You can't buy class. Maybe there's a theme developing here as Pete Doherty looks and smells like the contents spewed out of the coffins at the end of 'Poltergeist'.
