are those things not just modern milk crates stacked on their sides, so the opening is in the front? I dunno about your local grocery store but the one i shop at keeps milk crates stacked outside...get like 16 of the fuckers, paint em black &...its old school but fuck man, its not 100+ bucks. just keep records out of the bottom ones & you should be puppy-proof. Imma be needing to Hedgehog-proof my place soon...that should be a bit easier tho...just straightening all my loose wires, lol...best of luck...

Got 'em set-up! Took about 15-20minutes each without any rushing, was fairly simple with only 1 hitch getting one of the screws in. Ended up having to hammer it in slightly. I'd recommend having a longer set of allen keys handy, was tough going with the tiny one they supplied!

Wasn't convinced they were particularly sturdy looking at the flat-packed parts, but the middle shelf is actually quite solid and heavy. With the vertical dividers, there shouldn't be enough flex for it to bend even under heavyweight vinyl. Would've preferred that they didn't have the screws showing on the top surface, but ah well, at least it's sturdy.

Still working on the setup but here's what I've got so far. That's about 250-ish records so I guess you can get about 100 per cube comfortably. They're just a bit too shallow for the mixer+power cable so are sitting a bit aways from the wall. Not shaky though.



Compared to most of my other shelves which are completely bowed due to books (I have to turn the shelves over every 6 months or so to flatten them out again ), they seem like a fairly decent buy.

most are tall enough so you can close the flaps if you need to, but i have them folded in so the tops are open
