Wu-Tang

Post by futures_untold »

It seems there are a few of us here that love the Wu. ;)

I spent about 5 years listening to them non stop lol, cut down a little since then because of dubstep :oops:

What are you fav wu-joints and why?

--------------------------------------------------------------

Some of mine include (but not limited to);

IAM & Wu - La Saga (Probably my all time fav Wu tune)

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx - Icecream (The background loop)

Enter the Wu - C.R.E.A.M (headnod vibes turned into an ill remix by pishposh/evol intent)

The Swarm - Ruthless Bastards - Bastards (That daaark piano :o)

Wu Forever - As High as Wu-Tang Get (That fucking ridiculous bassline!! :D)

My fave albums:
Wu-Tang - Enter the Wu
Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx
Ghostface - Ironman

Okay, I know this is controversial, but can we all please admit that Method Man can't make a good solo album? I always thought his albums were the weakest. He sounds great on a verse or two or a hook, but man, puts me to sleep.

Return to the 36 Chambers - The Dirty Version. Love that album, nobody ever mentions it!

I've only listen to the W and 36 chambers.

The W is good, but 36 Chambers is beautiful. Such a great album! And apparently produced on an 8 track? POW!
