i really like that 'fuck your life away, smoke your life away tune', really touches me for some reason, music more than the lyrics, and the first gravediggaz album if that counts...

I seem to have acquired the Wu Tang 1992 demo tape from a blog somewhere...

Apparent tracklist -
Bring Da Ruckus - Wu Tang Master - After The Laughter - Enter The Wu Tang - It's All About Me - The Wu Is Comin Thru - Problems - Cuttin Headz

I haven't even listened to it to be fair. I know I suck a lot.

.... lemme know if you want an upload... 8)

EDIT:

It's...er...shoddy quality to say the least....I just checked it.

What do people think of the W and Iron Flag?

I reckon The W is better than Wu Forever based on the mixture of track styles and the high production quality. Only shit track on there (and I can't believe it made the cut to be honest) was track 7 'conditioner'. Fuck me is that a crap track haha, but the rest of the album is dope :)

Ironflag seemed more generic, but I did like it after lots of repeated listening. Every now and again I get the chorus from 'Chrome Wheels' stuck in my head (which is a good thing lol).

Also, which Wu memeber/dubstep artist collabs would you like to hear?

Excision/ODB or something could be mentalist haha 8)

I think The W was Wu's attempt at "hey you fools wanna hear 36 Chambers again, here it is...now fuck off" It was similar in that grimy feel imo. Didn't get much love when it was released. I enjoyed it..."Hollow Bones", "THe Monument", "One Blood Under W", "Red Bull", "careful"....great joints.

Iron Flag is suck...it's the "baby food"...sort of dumbed down so everybody can access it....but even tracks like "Back in the Game Now" was sick. If Wu can tear up a Trackmasters beat, props to them!

But still, my fav Wu album is forever. That was one of the most next level albums of hip-hop as far as I'm concerned. Vocabulary was off the hook, production is classic. had a good influence on the high-pitched vocal samples that cats would go on to emulate, even if it was sub consciously.

"For Heavenz Sake"
"Heaterz" (ODB drops one of the sickest four bar verses)
"Bells of War"
"M.G.M"...can't remember if thats the name...basically using the same sample as Dres Lil Ghetto Boy
"Reunited"
"Triumph"
"Scary Money"

really it's all classic, except maybe the one track that comes on after Heaterz....where U_God is gettin bathed by his woman or whatever.

But in addition to those tracks, may fav Wu/Wu-affiliated joints.

Tearz
Ice Cream
Knowledge God
Fish
Daytona 500
Child's Play
The Juks
The Forest
Torture
B.O.B.B.Y
La Rumba
It Must be Bobby
The Pillage
Slang Editorial
Heaven or Hell
Stay True
One
Apollo Kids
Babies
Promise Land
Smith Bros
Punch In Punch OUt
Soul Power
Iron Flag
Brooklyn Zoo
100 rounds
Cuttin headz
the shootout
chain gang
project jazz
melodic pt 2
b.i.b.l.e
los pepes pt 1
red dawn
murder venue
cold world
movas & shakers
R.e.c room
Strawberry
domestic violence
perfect world
suspect chin music
breaker, breaker
investigative reports
.............

LOL...going on and on there

this is actually part of my "WU" playlist on mediamonkey. I included some satellite wu groups as well.

First Gravediggaz album was incredible!!!

Prince Paul is hands down one of the most talented and nicest folks in hip-hop.

Favorite Wu Tunes. That's tough.

Grave Diggaz - Dangerous Mindz (actually produced by 4th Disciple) - Ridiculous beat, great lyrics, great tune

Wu-Tang - Wu Gambinos - The best tune on OB4CL in my opinion.

Method Man - Release yo delf

ODB - Brooklyn Zoo - Just awesome!

Killa Army - The whole Dirty Weaponry album. A bunch of the dudes in Killa army grew up like 15 minutes from me.

Rza - Domestic Violence - The beat on this tune is so fucking wicked!

Ugh, actually pretty much everything they made up to and including Wu-Tang forever is top notch. I love Wu-Tang.
