No more rewinds on this plz!!!

Post by dirt » Wed Sep 02, 2009 11:32 am

'When I look at You' is not allowed any more rewinds on any shows live or other wise. I'm starting to get sick of it and its not even been released yet! Love the tune and will defiantly pick it up on release but there is nothing like being over played to ruin something amazing. It gets one every time and its not necessary anymore... we all know its big... just let it roll! PLZ

meh I don't think I'll pick it up tbh, I don't like spinning overly-rinsed stuff, and this track is next level rinsed,

good track though

Yeah, its getting a tiny bit stupid now. At fabric at the last dubpolice night Trolley Snatcha, Benga, Caspa and Skream all played it and all rewound it.....

fail.
BOOMsHaNKA!an interception!
.....But that’s always the chance you take.

NEW LITTLE MIX COOKED UP. lovely.

Yeah I try to avoid rewinds, but when there's a row of people in front of you all shoutin' for it then you either rewind it or they rewind it for you

This.

If you don't like it then go somewhere where it won't be played.

yeah me too - if one of my favorite DJ's drops a tune I dont like,
I make it my mission to disrespect them, I try and bottle them whilst they are mixing or in the vain hope that I find the right car (theirs), I will slash the tyres of ALL motor vehicles in the immediate vicinity of said club.
I will also set up a blog aimed at DJ's who didnt drop the right tune (losers std)

So your skanking through say.. Hatchas set, having a good time, then this tune gets dropped...

You can either

A- Skank out still, stand still for the reload, then skank once again on the drop

B - Shake your head furiously (tutting optional), try to moan to your mates, who are too busy skanking to even listen to you

C- Try to jump on stage, exclaim how furious you are to Hatcha, that he can even think about playing an unreleased tune for more then 2 months, tell him he is ruining dubstep by doing this and then tell him all respect has been and gone between you both.

no I instantly vomit when i hear this tune dropped

na i joke, I suppose if its dropped at the right time by the right dj its still bangin. Hatcha did actually drop this at Exit festival and things got messy. But still id prefer a set to not be full of crossover tunes
