but a tune is a tune regardless of its cross over ability?

Oh noes, its too commercially appealing, isn't dislike.

God forbid producers wanting to make money from tunes ehh.

Did I say "I dont like it BECAUSE its a crossover hit" NO.

Did I say because its commercially appealing I dont liek it. NO.

its a good tune but its simply a victim of its own success, u telling me that regardles of how many times u hear a tune u never bore of them.
deamonds wrote:i think I have heard this tune? I wouldnt say it crosses over any genre's??
not that it crossesover genres, more that it crosses over into the the public conciousness, it becomes susceptible to over saturation. just a victim of its own success.dont u think?

I think it is a crossover hit. Its very very popular and I dont think its just dubstep djs who are dropping it. Surely?

Still had a great set, best of the night for me, his hour at glade was by far a highlight of that weekend aswell. Quality Dj, loves the crowd and actually engages with them. Skream at Fabric however...hmmm but it was the first time i'd seen him live. All that i really heard from his set was, heavy, grimey beat - rewind, heavy.grimey synth - rewind, Wen I Look At You - rewind, Saxon - rewind....the ketamised/coked up mosh pit behind me wasnt helping either.
BOOMsHaNKA!an interception!
.....But that’s always the chance you take.

NEW LITTLE MIX COOKED UP. lovely.

I live in Canada, and i have heard it rewound too many times.

loved the tune, but it is getting rinsed.

shame, was looking forward to having it on wax,but the effect is kinda wearing thin...

Excuse the intrusion from an outsider, but you're all looking at it from the wrong angle. I didn't buy certain Jungle tune BITD because of this and that, and I regret it. Think how you'll feel in 10years time when all the hype is long over, you want to pull this out of the rack and you can't 'cause you're the one who didn't buy it, it now costs £XXXXX on e-bay / discogs and an mp3 just won't do. Trust me, I know from experience. If you don't find yourself wanting to hear it in 10 years time, you can sell it on e-bay / discogs and make a hefty profit I would imagine.

the tune isn't even that good..... kinda sounds like it was made on a SNES game or something... haven't liked since the first time i heard it.

In terms of tunes getting too many wheels...... i couldn't agree more. Sometimes less is more and it's better to just hear it out and let people enjoy it.
