I changed my name came to find out some producer in germany was already using it. I wasn't really satisfied with it anyway.
So i started thinking and came up with this one.. Say it slowly and you know why i like it
I'm also into shaolin and kung fu flicks so it's funny i came up with this. Since it's fully english but written in such a manner it looks japanese hahaha.
I love it
i also like these names:
Akira Kiteshi
The Widdler
Cookiemonster (indeed that ones ill!)
501 (for some reason i like it)
But aside from the bigger known names. Some forunm member names i like are:
Depone
Futures Untold (really diggin this one, props bro!)
Paradigm
and some more but i gotta go and make tunes with my new name!
safe

That looks like some fucking funky show

I may risk possible action against me and keep the name,
I'm above the law

Bass is love.
I don't have any favorite names off the top of my head, but I do prefer names that aren't blatant cultural rips (or attempts at being ironic with cultural rips).
It was kinda cool when it was done in the 80's in hiphop... but 20 years later, I think it is time to drop that habit.
If I did have to list some, I would definitely agree with Venetian Snares being a sick name.
I think I tend to prefer names that somehow incorporate the person's real name. Macc, Tipper & Si Begg come to mind right away. Mine is a rework of my real name as well (Matt Peters --> Matty P --> Mad EP).
I also give props to Tim Exile... he had been going by Exile, but as it turns out, there is a big hiphop DJ/Producer who goes by Exile. However, Tim was known by everyone as Tim Exile anyway, and so instead of doing a completely new name, simply altered it to what everyone called him anyway, and kept going.

Aphex Twin.. that name is omnipotent
I used to use my alter ego roodbwoy for 11 years now, did a lot of breakcore withit, some russian clownstep dnb DJ is also using it, so I decided to change it to Sinus Sawtooth, Sinus is Sine in dutch, stands for the earthshattering basses and Sawtooth stands for the earpiercing leads... or well, thats want I want to make
reality and dreams do collide
